MEET N GREET @ 7:30PM

Following the last race of the day (Women's Open @ 6:40PM), we are hosting a Meet n' Greet with Alison Powers from 7:30PM-8:30PM. Bring any questions you might have for Alison—even race specific questions as she will be around all weekend to watch the Fox River Omnium series!

Alison Powers, founder and owner of ALP Cycles Coaching, has been coaching cyclists for 7 years. She brings an unparalleled knowledge and skill base to cycling and bike racing. Alison raced bikes professionally for 8 years, and is a USA Cycling Level 2 certified coach. She is certified as both a Road and Cyclocross racing coach from USA Cycling. Alison is the only person, in history, to win all three road discipline Nationals championships in one year. She is the current Road, and Time Trial National Champion. These go along with having three previous National Championships (Criterium 2013, Time Trial 2008, Team Pursuit 2008), 2 NRC titles (2009, 2013), and a true love for sports and conditioning for sports.

A full day of racing will take a break from 11AM-12PM for the Vision Clinic hosted by Category 1 racer Brian Haas of the Weather Channel racing team. You are bound to learn some excellent skills so don't miss it!

How are you doing in the omnium so far? Racked up some sprint points? Not sure how your team should strategize for the final race at Fox River? Now is a great chance to Ask Alison. She'll be around all weekend!

Wrapping up the weekend of racing, Alison Powers will reflect upon the racing she saw and give out awards for most improved, most tenacious, and most inquisitive... or any other award she may see fit. Join us for a wrap up discussion directly following the Women's Open race at 3:30PM.
