CWEC raise the road Grant 2020

CWEC is accepting applications for grants from individuals and teams for road season 2020. The aim of these grants are to aid the development of women’s road racing in the Midwest. The grant amount will be awarded based on need. Up to $2000 will be awarded in 2020. The grant must be used to aid an individual or team to develop women’s road racing in some manner, whether that be to fund a team, contribute to a team camp, aid attendance at a large race series, funding a clinic, etc. We are open to your ideas and goals and are excited to hear from you.

One of the aims of this grant is to create a partnership between CWEC and the grant recipient(s). We will request that the recipients provide CWEC with regular updates, share your experiences and contribute to the broader story of CWEC through blog posts and social media.

Application criteria

This grant is open to WTF individuals and teams from categories Cat 1 to Cat 5.
Grant recipients should be based in the Midwest area. According to USAC the states considered to be Midwest are: OH, MI, IN, KY, IL,WI, MO, IA,PA, WV or MN.
Applications must be submitted before 5pm CST on March 14th 2020

Grant recipient(s) must agree to the following:

To use the grant for its intended purpose (e.g. furthering women’s road racing)
Provide CWEC with a financial summary or evidence of where the money is spent.
To contribute (2) blog posts for the CWEC web page detailing how the grant aided you or your team.
